HOW DIAGNODENT WORKS
DIAGNOdent uses laser technology to scan your teeth with harmless pulses of laser light. When a cavity is detected, fluorescent light bounces back to the sensor in the wand and is translated into a digital and audible read-out. In general, the higher the number, the greater amount of decay in the tooth that is present.
